With the area’s emerging popularity in breweries the Yolo Brewfest is coming to historic Woodland to highlight some of the area’s best breweries.
The event will feature over 30 breweries, cideries, and even a meadery. Food will be sponsored by Las Brasas, Savory Café, Court St. Café, and Father Paddy’s. The Element Brass Band will provide music, and for cigar aficionados there will be a cigar lounger provided by Perfecto Lounge.
The Yolo Brewfest is helping to fund the SquareOne project at the Woodland Public Library – a technology-based and mentor-led learning environment.
“SquareOne will provide our community with a repertoire of ways for accessing, acquiring, constructing, expressing, sharing, and using knowledge, as well as developing a series of ways to collaborate with others for mutual benefit and collective good.” As well as, “foster the development of skill-sets need for the 1st century workforce: creativity, innovation, transmedia navigation, visual literacy, and computational thinking.”
